Terms and Conditions

Last updated 16 October 2026

1. About these terms

1.1 These terms apply when you use the StuntConnect app on iPhone or Android (the app). StuntConnect is a verified directory for the stunt industry. Coordinators can search for and shortlist stunt performers, performers can be found, and everyone can message each other in the app.

1.2 The app is run by Stunt Connect Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17247437. Our registered office is The Farmhouse, Pointers Road, Cobham, Surrey KT11 1PJ. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Stunt Connect Ltd.

1.3 You can contact us at support@stuntconnect.com about your account, or at info@stuntconnect.com about anything else.

1.4 When you create an account, you tick one box to accept these terms and another for our Privacy Policy. You can't create an account without ticking both, and we record when you did. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1.5 We may need to change these terms. Clause 14 explains how we'll tell you.

2. Who can use StuntConnect

2.1 StuntConnect is for professional use by people working in the stunt industry. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2.2 There are two kinds of account:

  • Performer accounts, for stunt performers who want to be listed in the directory. A performer profile goes live only once it has passed verification (clause 4).

  • Coordinator accounts, for stunt coordinators, department coordinators, casting teams, second unit directors and production staff who use the directory to find performers for work.

2.3 In the UK, at launch, performer accounts are open to members of the British Stunt Register (BSR) only. Members in any of the BSR's five categories can apply: Probationary; Stunt Performer; Senior Stunt Performer; Key Stunt Performer; Full Member/ Stunt Co-ordinator. We'll tell you if this changes.

2.4 Outside the UK, who can join follows the guilds and registers in each region, so the rules differ from region to region. The rules for each region are set out on our website.

2.5 If you use StuntConnect for a company or production, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Your account

3.1 You sign in with your email address and a password. When you sign up, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, region and role. We use your email address to sign you in and reset your password. Your phone number and email address are shown on your profile to other signed-in users, and coordinators can include them in PDF exports (clause 6.2). The information you give us must be true, complete and up to date.

3.2 Your account is for you alone. You can hold one account only, and you must not share your login or let anyone else use your account.

3.3 You're responsible for keeping your login details safe. Tell us straight away at support@stuntconnect.com if you think someone else has used your account.

3.4 We don't allow anonymous, fake or duplicate accounts. We may close an account that breaks this rule (clause 12).

4. Verification

4.1 StuntConnect verifies professional credentials. It does not verify identity, and a verified profile is not proof of identity. Confirming who a person is remains the responsibility of the hirer.

4.2 Every performer profile is checked before it goes live. To be verified, you'll need to give us evidence of your credentials. This can include guild or register membership, contracts, a reference from a stunt coordinator, your IMDb profile link and other supporting evidence. In the UK, you must give us evidence of your current BSR membership, plus supporting evidence for each skill you list on your profile.

4.3 If you ask us to check your guild or register membership and show it on your profile, we'll ask for your separate, explicit consent first. Some guilds are trade unions, so this information is treated with extra care under data protection law.

4.4 People review verification applications. We don't use automated or AI tools to assess your documents. We only turn an application down if it doesn't meet the verification criteria, and we'll tell you why.

4.5 We use verification documents only to check your credentials. We delete them once we've made a decision, and in any case within 30 days of receiving them. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.

4.6 A verified mark means only that we've checked the evidence you gave us against our criteria at that time. It does not mean that we or any guild have assessed your competence or safety, or that you're right for a particular job. StuntConnect is not a qualification, certification or training body.

4.7 You must tell us if anything we verified changes, for example if your membership lapses. We may check your credentials again at any time, and we may remove your verified mark or pause your profile while we do.

4.8 Credits, links and showreels you add to your profile are your own information. We don't check them unless we say so. An IMDb link is a link only, and we don't verify the credits it shows.

5. Performer profiles and your content

5.1 Your profile can include photos, measurements, skills and, depending on your plan, credits, showreels and links (your content). You keep ownership of your content.

5.2 You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and format your content in the app, and in the PDFs coordinators export from it (clause 6). This lets us run StuntConnect. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for PDFs a coordinator has already exported.

5.3 You confirm that:

  • your content is accurate, and your measurements and skills are current;

  • you own your content, or have permission to use it, including from the photographer or production;

  • anyone else who appears in your photos or showreels has agreed to it being shown;

  • your content doesn't break anyone else's rights or any law.

5.4 Keep your profile up to date. Coordinators rely on it when they decide who to contact. That includes your phone number and email address.

5.5 We may remove content that breaks these terms, or ask you to change it.

6. Using the directory

6.1 Coordinators may use the directory only to find, shortlist and contact stunt performers for genuine stunt work. You must not use it for marketing, recruitment for other directories or agencies, or anything unrelated to stunt work.

6.2 PDF exports. You can export shortlists and profiles as a Full page, Contact sheet or Z-card PDF with your production's name and branding. Share exports only with people involved in that production's hiring decisions. Delete them when they're no longer needed. Exports include performers' phone numbers and email addresses, so keep them secure.

6.3 Messages. Anyone with an account, whether a performer, a coordinator or a casting team, can message another user, or set up a group, for example for a job. Use messages only for genuine stunt work. Use other users' phone numbers and email addresses, whether from a profile, an export or a message, only to contact them about stunt work. Don't pass them on, sell them or add them to mailing lists.

6.4 Messages in the app. Conversations stay inside StuntConnect. We store messages so we can deliver them and show your conversation history. Our admins can see stored messages, but only directly in our database, not through the app. They look only when someone tells us about misuse, when the law requires it, or to fix a technical problem. Our Privacy Policy explains this. If someone sends you something that breaks these terms, or that you think is illegal, tell us at support@stuntconnect.com. We'll look into it, and we may remove content or suspend or close accounts (clause 9.2). Everyone in a group can see who else is in it and what they write. Anything you agree in a message is between you and the other users (clause 7), and we're not responsible for what users say in messages.

6.5 Availability polls. You can send a date, a date range or a selection of dates to a list. Performers answer yes or no and can't see each other's answers. An answer to a poll is an indication of availability only. It is not an offer, a booking or a contract.

6.6 When you handle performers' personal data outside the app, for example in exports, you're responsible for doing so lawfully.

7. What StuntConnect is and isn't

7.1 StuntConnect is a directory and a set of tools. We are not an agent, employer, casting service or booking service, and we're not a party to any work arranged through the app.

7.2 We don't rank performers, decide who is qualified or make hiring decisions. The coordinator makes the call.

7.3 Anyone who hires through StuntConnect is responsible for:

  • confirming the identity, right to work and suitability of the people they hire;

  • the terms of any engagement, including fees, contracts and payment;

  • safety on set, risk assessments, supervision and insurance.

7.4 We don't guarantee that performers will get work, or that coordinators will find the performers they need. Paying for Pro shows more of a performer's work. It does not mean more jobs.

7.5 StuntConnect is built alongside the industry's guilds and registers, not instead of them. Showing a membership on a profile doesn't mean that guild or register endorses StuntConnect or has a partnership with us, unless we say so.

8. Plans, the free period and payment

8.1 The app is free to download. At launch there is one performer plan, Pro:

Plan Who it's for Price
Pro Performers: the full profile (more photos, skills, credits, showreels and links) £8.99 a month

Prices include VAT. What each plan includes is shown in the app before you choose.

8.2 Six months of Pro, free. Every new performer gets Pro free for their first six months, starting when their profile is verified. We switch this on ourselves. You don't need to give payment details, and it isn't a store free trial.

8.3 When the free period ends. We'll remind you about a month beforehand.

8.4 Paying for a plan. Paid plans are bought through the App Store or Google Play, and they take the payment. Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.

8.5 Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund rules.

8.6 Price changes. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects you. You can cancel before it takes effect.

9. Acceptable use

9.1 When you use StuntConnect, you must not:

  • pretend to be someone else, or give false or misleading information about your credentials, skills or measurements;

  • upload forged, altered or borrowed verification documents;

  • copy, scrape or download the directory, or any part of it, in bulk, whether by hand or with automated tools;

  • use other users' details, including their phone numbers and email addresses, to harass, discriminate against or contact anyone for anything other than stunt work;

  • send messages that are abusive, threatening or sexual, or use messages for spam, advertising or recruitment for other services;

  • upload anything unlawful, offensive or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;

  • try to get into parts of the app, accounts or systems you're not allowed to use, or disrupt how the app works;

  • reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

9.2 If you break these rules, we may remove content, suspend or close your account, and report serious matters to the relevant authorities or guild.

10. Intellectual property

10.1 We own, or have permission to use, the app, the StuntConnect name and logo, and the design, software and content of the app, apart from your content. You may use the app only as these terms allow.

10.2 The directory as a whole, including how it is selected and arranged, belongs to us. You must not copy or reuse it.

10.3 If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without paying you or crediting you.

11. Other services and offline use

11.1 The app works with services run by other companies, including Apple and Google. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them. Links in profiles, such as IMDb or a performer's website, go to sites we don't control.

11.2 Offline use. You can search, shortlist and export saved directory data without a signal. To do this, the app stores some data on your device, which syncs when you're back online. Messages and availability polls need a connection. Keep your device secure, and don't keep performers' data on a device you share with others. Your login is kept in your phone's secure storage and cleared when you log out.

12. Suspending, closing and deleting accounts

12.1 You can close your account at any time in the app, after re-entering your password. Closing your account doesn't cancel a store subscription. Cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings (clause 8.4).

12.2 Closing your account takes effect straight away. Your name, email address, phone number and photos are deleted, your email address is anonymised, you're signed out on every device, and any verification application in progress is deleted. Messages you've sent stay in the conversations you were part of. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.

12.3 We may suspend or close your account if:

  • you break these terms;

  • your credentials no longer meet the verification criteria;

  • we reasonably believe your account is fake, or is putting others at risk;

  • we're required to by law.

Where we can, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to put things right.

12.4 We may change, pause or stop the app, or any feature of it. If we stop the app altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice. If you've paid in advance, you can ask the store for a refund for the unused period.

13. Our responsibility to you

13.1 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit. It doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer, if you are one.

13.2 We work to keep the app running and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. If digital content we supply is faulty, we'll repair or replace it.

13.3 We're not responsible for:

  • information that users put on their profiles, including credentials, skills, measurements and credits beyond what we verified (clause 4);

  • how other users behave, or any work, contract or payment arranged between users;

  • anything that happens on set or during any engagement;

  • loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

13.4 If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for business losses, such as lost work, income or opportunities.

13.5 If you use StuntConnect in the course of business, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, income, work or opportunity. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and £100.

14. Privacy, changes, complaints and the law

14.1 Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights. It forms part of these terms.

14.2 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms, for example when we add features, change our plans or the law changes. We'll tell you about important changes at least 30 days before they take effect, in the app. If you don't agree, you can close your account before then.

14.3 Complaints. If something goes wrong, email support@stuntconnect.com. We'll aim to reply within 5 working days.

14.4 Transferring these terms. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if StuntConnect is sold. We'll tell you, and it won't reduce your rights. You may not transfer your account to anyone else.

14.5 If a clause is invalid, the rest of these terms still apply. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.

14.6 The law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

Schedule: if you downloaded the app from the App Store

Apple requires these points in any app's own terms (Apple's minimum terms). They apply only if you got the app from Apple's App Store.

  1. These terms are between you and Stunt Connect Ltd, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.

  2. You may use the app only on Apple devices that you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow.

  3. We, not Apple, are responsible for maintaining and supporting the app. Apple has no obligation to do so.

  4. If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.

  5. We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it doesn't meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims.

  6. If anyone claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with that claim.

  7. You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a US Government embargo, and that you're not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

  8. Questions or complaints about the app go to Stunt Connect Ltd, The Farmhouse, Pointers Road, Cobham, Surrey KT11 1PJ, support@stuntconnect.com.

  9. You must follow the terms of any third-party service you use with the app, such as your mobile network.

  10. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you.
