No. Our vision is for the platform to support the entire global stunt industry, not to replace existing organisations. StuntConnect fully recognises and respects the contribution the BSR and other established organisations make to the profession — our aim is to complement that work with a modern, searchable global platform, not compete with it. In the UK, at launch, StuntConnect is open to BSR members only. Outside the UK, access will follow each region's own guilds and registers. StuntConnect isn't designed to replace any of those systems. It's built alongside them, to make experienced professionals easier to find. A performer's affiliations are shown on their profile, so coordinators can see whether someone is a member of the British Stunt Register, Stunts Unlimited, SAG-AFTRA, ACTRA, MEAA or another recognised organisation. That gives coordinators more information when hiring, not less.

In the UK, at launch, yes. StuntConnect in the UK is open to British Stunt Register (BSR) members only, in any of its five membership categories. We know this means performers who aren't on the register won't be able to join in the UK at launch. Talks are ongoing, and we'll share news as soon as we have it. Every profile is checked before it goes live. In the UK, we confirm your current BSR membership, and you provide supporting evidence for the skills you list on your profile. No — it's built as a global directory from day one, and works offline too, so it's usable on location anywhere in the world, not just when you've got signal in an office.
Coordinators can search verified stunt performers by measurements, skills and location, build shortlists, export branded PDFs (Full page, Contact sheet or Z-card), check who's free with one poll, and message them in the app, straight from the shortlist. Search, shortlist and export work on set, even without signal. Performers get a profile with a headshot, full body shot and action shot. There's more to come, and we're building it with the industry. Ahead of launch, the only data we hold is the email address you give us for our mailing list. We use it to send StuntConnect updates, nothing else. When the app launches, our Privacy Policy will also cover your profile, your messages and your verification documents: what we collect, how long we keep it and when it's deleted. Verification documents are used only to check your credentials, and are deleted once a decision has been made.
